More trees for urban areas
HCM CITY — A VND146 billion (US$6.9 million) project to plant trees on the East-West Boulevard in HCM City will be carried out to encourage development in residential urban areas in the city"s east and south directions. The project has been approved by the city"s Department of Planning and Architecture, the Construction Department and the city Urban Planning and Architecture Council. Work is scheduled to begin in July and finish by the end of this year.
